Aprubado na ng AMLC na i-freeze ang CPP-NpA Bank Accounts!

The Duterte Administration seems to be serious about its goal to end the C0mmunist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and its armed wing, the New People’s Army (NpA). It will be recalled that President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the soldiers to put an end to the c0mmunist r3bels.

“I have always called it as an article of faith, but no progress or development in any nation — wherever it is — cannot really hope to grow if there is tr0uble. Itong atin dito, what ails us is many, the insurgency of the C0mmunist Party of the Philippines (CPP), then you have the terr0rists. I have two years. Frankly, I have asked the mi*litary and the police, kung kaya niyong tapusin, tapusin na ninyo ngayon,” according to President Duterte last March 2020.

 

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra revealed on Sunday that the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) has issued an order to freeze bank accounts and assets connected to the CPP-NpA.

“Per ED (Executive Director) (Mel) Racela, the AMLC approved its freeze order against the CPP-NpA and other designated terr0rist groups last Dec. 23. The AMLC can already move in the premises at any time after due designation by the ATC,” said Sec. Guevarra.

An order to freeze the accounts of the c0mmunist r3bels was issued after the Anti-Terr0rism Council (ATC) designated the CPP-NpA as a terr0rist.

Sa matagal nang panahon, matagal nilang nagatasan ang international funders para matustusan ang armadong karahasan at sariling luho ng mga CPP cadres na nasa mga syudad nakatira. Halimbawa sa diskarte ay ang well-orchestrated na pagpabakwit ng mga lumad sa Lianga at sa UCCP Haran dahil sa akusasyong pang-aabu*so diumano ng mga sunda*lo. Pibapakuhanan nila ng documentaries at pinamukha sa funding NGOs sa US at EU na sobrang kawawa ang lumad. Binuking na ng mga dating CPP cadre ang kabulastugang ito.” according to Army Officer Harold Cabunoc.

 

“Sec. Guevarra also says that the bank accounts of known terr0rists or organizations can be examined. Makikita na lahat ng transfers of funds at mapupuntirya ang mga pinanggalingan nito. Sumuko na kayo, NpA.” explained Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles.
