Congresswoman Vilma Santos, inihain na ang Abs-cbn Franchise Renewal Bill !

Share:

Deputy Speaker Vilma Santos-Recto has already submitted the house bill 8298 which aims to give ABS-CBN a franchise again for the next 25 years.
It will be recalled that the franchise application of Kapamilya Network was rejected in 2020 under the leadership of Former House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano.

During the previous hearings against ABS-CBN, some vi0lations and issues appeared on the Kapamilya network. Some of these are unfair labor practices, tax avoidance scheme, black box issue and many more.

It will also be recalled that President Duterte several times thr3atened the station that he would block its franchise renewal. Some of the reasons of the President were the non-release of his campaign advertisement in the 2016 presidential elections but the release of the anti-DU30 commercial by Former Senator Antonio Trillanes.

Read the reaction from the netizens on Deputy Speaker Vilma Santos-Recto's submitted house bill 8298 which aims to give ABS-CBN a franchise again for the next 25 years:

Michael Fontillas Agawin: Parang walang issues and violations nagawa ang abs cbn of the lopez group of companies kung mag hiling kayo ng renewal. Wala naman dapat renew. Paso na po in english expired need to apply for a new frequency. They could not apply for the frequency they hold for many number of year due to the unanswered issues, vi0lations and most likely penalties! Why in a hurry when you should finished all of the fa*ke land title/ transmitter issues, amcara and big deeper business scheme, black box ill3gal selling and etc. plus the atoz TV a religious tax exempt broadcast station selling airtime. Where are you NTC? You are supposed to start offering the frequency of the one hold by abs cbn now open but your not doing anything as if your waiting a reserved for Lopezes again or your buying to reach 2022 no more DU30. Let be aware and not be fall on a sympathy or undermine by the move of the senators and congressman atty for abs cbn!
