“Puso ni Leni, Tapang ni Leila, Kailangan ng bansa sa 2022", isinusulong ng mga supporters!

Prominent opposition supporters are now pushing Leila De Lima and Leni Robredo tandem in the upcoming 2022 Presidential Election.

In a post, Filipino-American Businesswoman and Philanthropist Loida Nicolas Lewis showed the proposed tandem between De Lima and Robredo.

The photo is written “Puso ni Leni, Tapang ni Leila, Kailangan ng bansa sa 2022." It is promoted by the group Bunyog-Pagkakaisa. It is not yet known whether they are pushing for De Lima and Robredo to run for a higher government positions.

 

So far, Robredo and De Lima have not given a statement on what their supporters are pushing for. It will be recalled that Robredo and De Lima are both well known critics of the Duterte administration. 

Meanwhile, some government supporters could not help but laugh at the said tandem. According to blogger Sass Sasot, she didn't expect that real supporters of Robredo and De Lima will make the said slogan.

“When I first saw this, I thought it’s a meme created by a silly DDS. But no, it’s from Imelda Nicolas, sister of Loida. PUso ni Leni, TApang ni Leila,” said Sasot.
