The source also said that the President told Pacquiao that he will support Senator Bong Go and his daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, in case they are candidates. Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque recently said that Pacquiao is one of President Duterte's possible bet if Senator Bong Go will not run for presidency.

President Duterte and Senator Pacquiao are both members of the PDP-LABAN.
