Activist Renato Reyes also reacted to the lechon preparation for President Rodrigo Roa Duterte's birthday. Reyes criticizes President Duterte's allegedly simple birthday party.

It will be recalled that the President's birthday rice cake spread on social media and later a video came out where the President had lechon prepared.

 

The one who gave the lechon as a gift to the Chief Executive slammed the critics of the current administration. According to Jocelyn Tapic, she presented the lechon to the President.

"Huy! Trillanes normal ang Lechon pag may Birthday! FYI regalo ko yan, ipagbirthday mo naman ang President, sarap kaya ng balat ng lechon hahaha ikaw talaga TRILLANES wala ka na kasing maibabato sa Presidente kaya hayun nag Hallucinate ka na naman! Eh! nung one year ng Food Ministry ng Jaya’s Kitchen maraming Lechon ang pinamigay namin sa mga Frontliners! At tsaka blind ka ba Trillanes? nasa bahay lang si Presidente! wala sa hotel! Ikaw pala ang Manlol0ko at Stup!d! ( As per PRRD labing limang apo at kasambahay ang kumain. ano pala ipapakain nya? ) Si Kris nga pala walang occasion, breakfast lang ni Bimby ang Lechon."

Ding Salazar: Mahigit pa sa lechon ang kaya nyang ihanda, pero mas simpleng pagkain lang ang kanyang pinili, kung mayroon man kayong nakita lechon, malay naman nyo na may nagbigay lamang at hindi malayong mangyari dahil nakakalimutan nyo na sya ay isang presidente na hindi nakikialam kung ano ang inihahanda mo tuwing iyong kaarawan, kahit alam nya ng sa pagbubunganga ka lamang kumikita!
