In the post of The Terraces by Legazia formerly Villa Sylvia, they show some photos captured from their CCTV where some guests brought home some plants that were not theirs.
It can be seen that the guests didn't hide the plants they were st3aling and just put them in a bag as if they are not doing anything wr0ng.
The said resort felt bad to what their guest is doing.
They said they give away plants if only the guests properly asked for it. “..to all our valued guests.. hindi po kami madamot sa plants, pero please naman po, magpaalam po muna sana kayo ng maayos sa management hindi po yung basta na lang kayo hatak ng hatak hanggat ugat, meron po kaming mga sadyang ipinamimigay at meron din pong pinadadami pa lamang.. Please po, respeto sa resort, respeto sa management at respeto sa mga halaman… isang grupo na ganyan kadami ang kukunin ay baka po bukas wala ng matirang bulaklak at halaman dito sa aming resort.. maraming salamat po..”
The resort did not release the identities of the said guests. It will be recalled that plant care "plantita" has become a trend lately in the social media. But many individuals also do the wr0ng thing just to get plants.
Others sell plantitas even though they picked it up ill3gally. The said post reached thousands of shares and reactions from the netizens. Some netizens asked why no one guards the entrance of their resort to sew the guests that are going out with the plants on their hands. Others reminded the resort to put up signs so that guests know if they can pick plants at their resort:
