Koko: "Kahit Naroon pa si Duterte, Hindi namin Kikilalanin ang Meeting"

For Senator Koko Pimentel, the assembly meeting of the PDP-LABAN is invalid even if President Rodrigo Roa Duterte will attend.

“If the most popular person in the party will attend, a meeting which we have not recognized, it does not change the fact that we still do not recognize that meeting. The vi0lation and the defects from the start are still there,” said Pimentel.

According to Pimentel, the PDP-Laban activities to be led by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi's faction are a vi0lation of the party's constitution, especially Senator Manny Pacquiao is not included in the agenda.

 

“Hindi po kami (we are not) personality-based. Our chairman happens to be the President of the Republic of the Philippines, a very charismatic person with very huge following and very popular, so those are facts about him. Pero pagdating sa partido (But when it comes to the party), when you call for a meeting, you do not keep the party president blind of the details of the event,” added Pimentel.

It will be recalled that Pimentel recently said that Pacquiao is the president the Philippines needs.
