A woman was criticized on social media after she complained after they moved to the ‘Basecommunity’ project of the Manila government. The Basecommunity was built to provide affordable and comfortable housing to the residents of Manila.
But not everyone who has been blessed with housing is happy with the project, one of them is the 'ginang' who spoke to vlogger Khopars.
The vlogger greeted those who were blessed with the house, including the ginang, but instead of saying thank you, she only commented. One of the things she complains about is the 2,000 that Basecommunity residents need to pay each month, because for her, the unemployed residents can’t afford it.
According to her, they did not sign any agreement so she believes that they will pay the said house for life. She also complained that they are not allowed to bring other relatives or guests to their homes.

“Hanggang siyam lang ang pwede, paano na ‘yung sobra? Maganda nga ‘yung bahay pero pag gising mo mag iisip ka ng pambayad, wala ka namang hanapbuhay. Kung hindi nasunog mas maganda pa ‘yung squatters nalang kami, hindi pa kami mag iisip ng kung ano ano na pambayad namin, kung may babayaran kami o wala. Ang iintindihin lang namin pagkain namin, bahay namin hindi na kami magbabayad syempre squatters,” according to the ginang.
