Enchong Dee, nag sorry sa ikinasal na mambabatas: "With deep regret"

The Actor and Swimmer Enchong Dee deeply regret for his previous statement against Drivers United for Mass Progress and Equal Rights (DUMPER) Party-list Rep. Claudine Diana “Dendee” Bautista.

It will be recalled that Enchong seemed to accus3d the legislator who got married with her childhood sweetheart Jose French “Tracker” Lim.

It can be seen that the grand wedding of Bautista and Lim gone viral on social media.

 

Bautista's wedding gown was made by Famous International Fashion Designer Michael Cinco and the event planner they hired was a Celebrity Event Stylist Gideon Hermosa.

One of those who crit1cized the legislator was Enchong Dee who said that the drivers' money went to Bautista's wedding who came from a rich family.

“The money for commuters and drivers went to her wedding. Let’s not prolong this conversation and don’t say otherwise.” said Enchong.

 

Enchong deleted his post and on August 18, he apologized to Cong. Bautista and to her husband. He said he was completely regretful and admitted his mistake. He promised that he would avoid this kind of inc1dent again.

“I have been reckless in the tweet I posted and I take full responsibility for my lapse in judgment. With deep regret, I would like to apologize to Congresswoman Claudine Bautista, her husband, their families, and the Dumper Partylist. I reacted based on impulse without thinking of the consequences nor the harm it may cause. I learned that as dutiful citizens, we must always fact-check our statements to avoid sensationalism and the spread of false news. I will take this opportunity to reflect on the wrong I have done and use this opportunity to better myself in being more discerning of my actions.”

Cong. Bautista has not yet responded to Enchong's apology to her.
