Panoorin: P100-M cyberlibel, isinampa ni Pacquiao laban kay Pastor Quiboloy!

Senator Manny Pacquiao has filed a formal complaint against Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. This is related to what Quiboloy said earlier about the alleged sports complex in Sarangani that was built from taxpayers' money worth P3.5-B but it is not being used.

According to Pacquiao, Quiboloy's statements are untrue. Because of this, Pacquiao demanded P100-M from Quiboloy's camp because the pastor damaged his image. “He used this deliberate falsehood to brainwash the minds of the Filipino public, recklessly propagating lies to blacken the image and reputation of an honest public servant.” Pacquiao said in the complaint. “He even had the audacity to quote the Holy Scripture in furtherance of his li3s, misleading his flock, and confusing the public, with the end in view of blackening another’s reputation.” he added.

 

In his previous explanation, Pacquiao said that only 300-500-M pesos was spent on the said sports complex, far from the 3.5-B that his critics say. He also said that the photos spread on the internet were wrong and said that the photo and video of a sports complex shared by his critics had been in Sarangani since the 90's.

So far, Pastor Quiboloy has not made a statement on Pacquiao's action against him. It will be recalled that Quiboloy challenged Pacquiao a debate to discuss various issues in the country, including the controversial sports complex.
