Open Letter ng British National para sa Oxford Ph Society: "Any documents from the said university that casts doubt over his qualifications?"

Share:

Dear students, I hope you don’t mind me writing to you like this, but this open letter is meant with only the greatest respect for you all and your society. I am heartened to hear that you have formed a group at Oxford to help showcase and promote the Philippines and all that is good about being Filipino.

I am aware of so many notable Filipinos who have achieved so much for their country and beyond, I have no doubt that many of you will continue this legacy. That being said, I just wanted to pick up on your recent public statement concerning the qualifications of Presidential aspirant, Bong Bong Marcos.

I am aware that you are questioning his qualifications or ‘special diploma’ and casting doubt on its legitimacy. The fact is that he gained this diploma in 1975, at a time when many of you probably weren’t even born.

Bong Bong definitely completed a course of study at Oxford, his certificate from Oxford university which is doing the rounds on social media definitely confirms this. What I have most striking is your statement that you are not trying to be political? How so? BBM is a politician running for the highest public office in the Philippines. How is that not political? You talk about misinformation? Where is your evidence over your claims? Have you any documents from the said university that casts doubt over the qualifications of him?

As far as I can see, your view of Bong Bong Marcos is most likely clouded from the misinformation you have been fed on social media. IF you are not trying to be political at all, why even make an issue out of this? Are your accusing the future president of the Philippines as lying or trying to run for office under false pretences?

If not, I don’t see any need for your posts about him.

Please continue in your studies at Oxford, a great achievement.
We are proud of you.
Maraming Salamat po sa inyong lahat.
