Panoorin: Isko slams Leni: 'Fake leader with fake color is fake character'

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno's alleged taunts to one of those who will get him to be the country's president in the 2022 Election, Vice President Leni Robredo, are sharp. Isko issued an opinion regarding the running of VP Leni and her alleged change of the 'color of revolution' from the former yellow to pink.

VP Leni was a former chairperson of the Liberal Party (LP) but she was an independent candidate when she filed her certificate of candidacy for president of the Philippines for the upcoming 2022 Elections. 

Because of this, for Isko, Robredo cannot talk about the desire for unity of the Filipinos when she herself was able to leave her former political party.

 

"You cannot talk of unity when you yourself hindi mo nga ma-unify sarili mong party. You're not even proud of your party, kung kaya mong iwan ang mga kasama mo sa partido, paano pa kaya kaming 110 million na mga Filipinos?"

Mayor Isko was also frank in his opinion in what some people said that VP Leni's running was to prevent a Marcos from leading the country again.

"Ang away ng mga pamilyang yan walang dinulot na buti sa ating bayan. Sila ay tumatakbo para maghigantinsa isa’t isa. Sila ay tumatakbo dahil sa kulay ng kanilang pulitika. Pagod na ang mga tao sa away ng mga politika nila. Kung sila ay hindi nag-aaway sa loob ng tatlong dekada, malamang wala tayo sa kinalalagyan nating kahirapan."

Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso is one of the famous actors in the Philippines. He is now the 27th mayor of the City of Manila. He is known as ‘Yorme’ by his supporters. He announced his candidacy as president of the Philippines at the Baseco compound in Tondo, Manila on September 22.

This was followed by confirmation of his running mate who will run as vice president, Doc Willie Ong. Like Isko, Doc Willie said he is willing to take risks when he ran for the second highest position in the Philippine government.
