Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has defied the accusati0ns spreading on social media that he is a member of the New People’s Army. Isko strongly denied the allegation and at the same time connected it to President Duterte.
According to him, he was only given the opportunity to attend the peace talks.
Nakikinig ako doon so meron akong mga natutunan. Come to think of it, akalain mong magagamit pala natin yung mga bagay na, ‘ano ang gusto ng gobyerno?’ (at) ‘ano ang gusto nila?’ Eh ano ba ang gusto natin? Away? O peace?” explained the mayor.
The photos that are being spread against him are said to be a scheme by spin masters.
It will be recalled that the removal of anti-NpA posters became an issue against Mayor Isko.
