Senatorial aspirant and actor Robin Padilla has opposed calls to remove the remains of former president Ferdinand Marcos from the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
In his live video, Padilla shared his reaction after he read the post about the plan from the remnants of the controversial former president.
It will be recalled that former senator Bongbong Marcos is running for the presidency, that's the reason why the issue of the place where the former president is bur1ed is in hotseat again.
One of the cr1tics is senatorial aspirant Atty. Chel Diokno who said that the fun3ral of Marcos should not have happened. But according to Padilla, the bur1al of the former president was in accordance with the law and was favored by the supreme court itself.
“Ganyan na ba talaga kayo ka-walang pusong tao? Wow,” said Padilla. “Nail1bing na ‘yung presidente ng Pilipinas na war hero sa Libingan ng mga Bayani, may problema pa kayo doon. Ano problema ninyo doon? Eh karapatan niya ‘yun. Lahat ng sundalo puwedeng il1bing doon. Ano ‘yun papahuk@y ninyo? aba, isa ako sa hindi papayag diyan,” he added.
Padilla urged Marcos' cr1tics to move on. "Saradong usapan na ‘yan. Alisin natin ang politika dito. Pat@y na ‘yung tao. Nailibing na, respetuhin natin. Huwag na natin gamitin sa politika. Pambihira kayo,” Padilla continued. “Hindi pa kayo naka-move on, paano kayo magsisilbi sa bayan kung puro kayo hinanakit?” he added.
Padilla was one of those who showed support for Marcos, whom he called a hero.
