All I know about President Duterte is that he does not care even if he looks like a f0ol, even if he is h@ted, even if he seems to have lost his touch and his endorsement power, as some people who have abandoned him because they’ve now moved on to the next big politician say. He has in five years toppled networks, oligarchs, dr*ug cartels, even the solid Catholic Church has lost its credibility when he att@cked them. He turned this country around from a nation of people who only derived their sense of pride from the achievement of halfies (proud Filipino lol) to actually having dignity and standards.
And you think now, just because it’s his last year in office, that he is not in his right mind? Talaga ba? From the man who has returned basura to Canada and shifted the balance in geopolitics singlehandedly, and liberated us from our perspective as neocolonial sl@ves lapping up everything Uncle Sam served us?
Duterte singlehandedly set in motion a sea change in the way we viewed our politics. He was able with his sheer political will finish many projects that weren’t moving because of issues likes right of way for skyways, or w@rring businessmen who both want the train station. He has neutralized and hit a 53-year-old t3rr0rist group that no President has ever really successfully done. Only Duterte.
Duterte says and does things because he has an end in mind which NOBODY is privy to—and he doesn’t care if he looks like a villain or a bumbling old man as long as he achieves that goal. He will affect the role and play innocent if he needs to. He will play villain if that’s the only way to worm out from the next set of candidates their stand on issues that are very important to him.
You all watch him talk but don’t look at his actions, and don’t take into consideration what the old man has accomplished in the past five years. Sa tingin nyo pababayaan nya masayang ang pinaghirapan nya by not already setting the stage for the next administration? Sa tingin nyo ngayon palang hindi nya tinitignan how to make the next batch commit to issues he wants them to commit to, and manipulate them into committing without him having to ask outright? Si Duterte pa.
Tapos mainsulto nyo na akala nyo easy easy lang ang ginagawa nya? Because all you see is what he wants you to see. And you do not have the capacity to understand how he has already laid out his plans. Iniinsulto nyo without taking his achievements in consideration just to defend your candidates? Just because he won’t play your brand of politics eh wala na agad sa tamang pag iisip? Just because he says things that offend you you now treat him the way Leni’s supporters do?
Sabi nga nya, “Kung ako pinapaikot, hindi ako maging Presidente.” And not only just any President, but the BEST President this country has ever seen, year on year achievements wise. Magagawa ba nya lahat ng nagawa nya kung bobo at walang isip yan? O ye of little faith.
