"Namumulitika ako, hello? kandidato ba ako?" — Kris, sa kanyang Kritiko

Television host Kris Aquino could not hold back and answered her cr1tics this Christmas. It will be recalled that Kris' statement became a topic of conversation on social media after she distributed aid to Odette's v1ctims in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

“Sana maalala niyo kung sino po ang tumulong sa inyo sa oras ng inyong pangangailangan. Dahil po yan sa pagmamahal namin sa lahat ng mga Pilipino,” said Kris.

In her Instagram post this Christmas, Kris denied that she was there campaigning, because according to her, she was there to help to those in need. “Some are accus1ng na namumulitika ako, hello? kandidato ba ako? Purposely cropped out yung kandidatong kasama ko,” Aquino said after Presidential Aspirant and Vice President Leni Robredo were mentioned several times in her speech in the places where she gave help. “Yung kulay ng suot ko, sa dating bahay pa lang namin alam niyo na favorite color ko. Sa lilipatan, mas predominant pa. Nung nakatira kami kay Noy nung 2016, nag-comment siya… bakit puro pink na ang placemat at plato natin?” she added.

Kris also clarified that she did not st3al the money she was using for ayuda. “Hindi ko nin@kaw yung perang ginamit, hindi pera ng gubyerno, galing sa sarili kong bulsa. Alam ko ring by posting, marami pa ang mae-engganyong tumulong kasi reality na ‘if you don’t post it, it did not happen’,” said television host. “Kahit Pasko, pasensyahan tayo. I am not my brother who was too humble and proper for his own good, who chose to suffer in silence kaya namihasa na lang kayo,” she continued.

 

So far, it is not known if Kris will continue to distribute aid after the crit1cism she received.
