Hindi umano dadalo si Robredo sa ‘Presidential Job Interviews’ ng DZRH Manila

It is said that Presidential Aspirant and Vice President Leni Robredo will not attend the ‘Presidential Job Interviews’ of DZRH-Manila. This was announced by one of the hosts of the said program Political Science Professor Antonio Contreras, where he said that Robredo did not accept their invitation. 

Contreras has a lot of regret because he would have wanted to ask Robredo questions, but he respects the vice's decision.

“I respect Leni Robredo’s decision to decline the invitation of DZRH and Manila Times to attend Bakit Ikaw, a live panel interview of presidentiables. Much as I was looking forward to the opportunity of asking her questions, as one of the panelists, I can only but take cognizance of the fact that it is well within her right to choose which forum and venue she would like to attend.” said Contreras. “After all, this is a free country, and Bakit Ikaw is just one of the many platforms through which the candidates can offer themselves for public scrutiny. We are in a pluralist democracy, where no one has a monopoly of the venues for legitimate political discourse.” he added. Contreras urged netizens to respect Robredo's decision.

 

Robredo's camp has not yet responded as to why the vice president will not be able to attend. So far, Presidential Aspirants former Senator Bongbong Marcos, Leody De Guzman, Sen. Ping Lacson and Sen. Manny Pacquiao has just confirmed their attendance at the said interview. Meanwhile, Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno has not yet confirmed whether he will be able to attend.

‘Bakit Ikaw’ is a live one-on-one interview that will last over two hours. Here is the schedule of the said one-on-one interview:

Leody De Guzman, Wednesday, 26 January, 4 – 6:30 pm

Ping Lacson, Friday, 28 January, 4 – 6:30 pm

Manny Pacquiao, Friday, 29 January, 4 – 6:30 pm
