Panoorin: Di nasunod ang request na house and lot kaya ipina-tulfo ang inang OFW!

On the rare occasion, netizens sided with the complainant in the Raffy Tulfo in Action (RTIA) program. In the said program, Jerald Reondangga complained his mother who is an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Bernadette Montaniel, because the domestic helper allegedly did not send him his proper allowance.

Netizens' eyebrows rose immediately after they watched how Jerald answered his mother who had been working abroad for several years to support her children.

 

But the OFW insisted that her remittances were not reduced and that her salary as a domestic helper is not so big amount. She further revealed that in addition to the money she sent, she also is paying for the motorcycle that Jerald is using and another tricycle. She is paying too for her children's cellphone  mobiles.

But according to Jerald, it was the ‘house and lot’ that he was asking from his mother that really pushed him to complain. At the moment, he say, he is just using the bathroom in the other house. He also said that he is surprised because he sees other children who have their own houses even though their parents only work in Manila while his mother is abroad.

According to some reports, the average salary of domestic helpers in Bahrain is only P21,700 or BHD160.

Instead of taking his sides, netizens criticized the complainant.
