In an interview with him in ‘The Presidential Interviews’, Lacson said that Aquino did not ch3at and he knew it because he was able to work with the former President.
“Sa mga nakaraang pangulo natin, talagang siya ang hinahangaan ko kasi hindi siya c0rrupt, ‘yun ang pagkakakilala ko sa kanya dahil nakatrabaho ko siya,” said Lacson. “Pinangunahan niya yung ‘no wang-wang policy’; symbolic, napakasimple, pero napaka-symbolic. Ibig sabihin, walang entitlement,” he added.

Lacson became part of Aquino's cabinet as Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery (PARR) after Typh0on Yolanda struck.
