Last Sunday, a video went viral on social media where Patrolman John Paul Gomez Sudario assigned to the Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Santiago City Police Office, restraining a woman alias “Ellen” who is a resident of Barangay Malapat, Cordon Isabela to enter a famous mall.
Because of this, they called the security guard and police assistance to calm Ellen down and get her out of the said mall. But Ellen allegedly insisted on re entering the establishment and that's where the viral video took place.
No case was filed against the woman because of her condition. Sudario was recognized by his superior PCOL Reynaldo Dela Cruz, City Director of Isabela for his long patience.
Ellen slapped and hit Pat Sudario but the policeman remained calm and did not react to the woman. According to the police inv3stigation, Ellen pretended to buy a cellphone but she didn't have any money, so the sellers offered her an 'installment' but the woman got angry.
It was discovered that the woman was not 100% okay in her mind. Authorities were about to arr3st Ellen but her relatives suddenly came and said that the woman was mentally 1ll. Ellen's relatives apologized to the authorities and they were immediately forgiven.
Netizens and his fellow policemen also praised Sudario for his maximum tolerance. So far, Ellen's family has not made an official statement about the incid3nt.
