In the said video, it can be seen that Velasquez said that ABS-CBN is not biased or endorsed any candidate, unlike SMNI news owned by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. It will be recalled that Quiboloy has already endorsed the Marcos-Duterte coalition for 2022, which is why Velasquez did not hesitate to ask if the SMNI debate will be fair to other candidates.
Prof. Carlos answered this and said that ABS-CBN and other media networks are also biased towards candidates but silently.
“The keyword is “openly”. I am glad you used that word. Because I’ve been content analyzing you guys and I count the number of minutes, microseconds that you indulged in XYZ candidates. And clearly, nakakiling kayo sa isang kandidato.” said Carlos. “So wag na tayo magmaang-maangan tungkol dyan, noh? Kasi ang isang iskolar tulad ko, nagcocontent analyze, nakikita yung trend nato. Openly maybe you are not doing it openly but you are doing it not openly. And that goes for the other networks. Makukuha mo yan sa content analysis eh, so let us not go there. So what do I care?” she added.

It will be recalled that Carlos went viral on social media because of her difficult questions to the four candidates who attended the SMNI presidential debate. Four candidates also did not go to the said program and some of the reasons they said were Quiboloy's support for the Marcos-Duterte coalition.
