Asawa ni Toni Gonzaga to netizens: "I subscribe to unity.. There’s no need for me to cancel anyone”

The husband of television host Toni Gonzaga reacted to the crit1cisms he received for showing support for Presidential Aspirant and Senator Bongbong Marcos and Vice Presidential Aspirant and Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte.

In his statement, Direk Paul Soriano said that he will not follow the current trend of ‘cancel culture’. Paul said he respects the opinion of netizens even though he received criticism online.

“There’s no need for me to cancel anyone whether you like me, you love, you h@te me. I just wanna get the record straight I didn’t say that I’m cancelling anyone. It’s unfortunate what happened online, but I guess it’s part of the society we live in today. And at the end of the day I subscribe to unity as what BBM and Sara are living by.” the director said.

“Hopefully, our country will understand and one day realize that it’s important to come together rather than be against each other.” he added.

BBM is the godfather of Paul and Toni in their wedding so it cannot be denied that they are close to each other. Paul is also the director of Marcos’ advertisement campaign entitled‘ Unity ’. It will be recalled that his wife Toni was also crit1cized for giving an interview to Marcos.
