The band ‘Silent Sanctuary’ tasted the fer0city of the supporters of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo or better known as the Kakampink.

This is after the group announced that they will sing for the UniTeam Unity Concert which will be attended by presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos Jr. and his tandem vice presidential bet Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Silent Sanctuary did not say where they would perform but they gave the date and place of their destination. “North peeps!!! Gusto nyo bang tumalon tumalon sa saya? Hahaha. Magkita kita tayong lahat sa Saint Vincent Ferrer Prayer Park sa Bayambang, Pangasinan on February 27, Sunday. Makisaya at maki-jam ulit samin! Let’s G!,” according to the group.

But some netizens found out that the said UniTeam Concert will also be held at the same place and date. The concert will be attended by other performers and bands such as Aegis and Avant Music.

Some fans of Silent Sanctuary who are also members of ‘Kakampink’ expressed their disappointment with the band. “Please lang po. Paki-inform naman ang followers niyo na political rally iyan at hindi lang basta free concert! Wag po sanang mambudol at wag magpapabudol!” said one netizen.

“Hoy kadiri ka, Silent Sanctuary para kang si Marcos Magnanakaw hindi ka transparent na rally ni LBM yang jamming mo!” posted Atty. Jesus Falcis.

“Listening to your music will never be the same anymore. I can’t do anything with my conscience, so l have to remove your songs in all of my playlist. It was a fun atmosphere with your music in it during hs and college. Thank you for that.” another fan's message.

Silent Sanctuary has yet to make an official statement about the crit1cism they received from kakampink fans.
