Netizens, Saludo kay Col.Bosita dahil tinulungan lang naman niya ang na-agrabyadong rider

Netizens were shocked by the arr3st of a well known retired member of the Highway Patrol Group Col. Bonifacio Bosita.

Bosita, who was also the founder of the riders group Riders’ Safety Advocates of the Philippines (RSAP) and the first nominee of the 1-Rider party-list, was arr3sted for usurpation of authority and gr@ve coercion.

In the warrant signed by Hon. Karen Maramba Firme, presiding judge of the RTC, Metropolitan Trial Court, National Capital Judicial Region, Branch 60, Mandaluyong City ordered the authorities to arr3st Bosita for interfering in the decision of the authorities even though he is already retired.

 

The arr3st of Bosita was related to his vlog back then in which the retired policeman sc0lded an officer of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) that retain a rider who was only wearing slippers.

The said vlog also shows Bosita telling the MMDA officer that he will pay the salary of the rider he retained because the rider will no longer be able to go to work. MMDA traffic czar Edison Bong Nebrija, who filed the c@se against Bosita, was furi0us.

Bosita's camp clarified that he voluntarily surr3ndered to the authorities and posted bail of 36,000 pesos for Gr@ve Coercion and P30,000 for Usurpation of Authority.

So far, Bosita has not made an official statement on the arr3st made by the authorities.
