"We need you more out here, You can do so much more out here" — Megastar's message to Leila de Lima

‘Megastar’ Sharon Cuneta called on the government to release Sen. Leila De Lima now facing dr*ug charges.

It will be recalled that the senator was impris0ned for five years inside Camp Crame for alleged involvement in ill3gal activities inside National Bil1bid when she was still secretary of the Department of Justice (DOJ).

In her speech at the political rally by presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo and her husband vice presidential candidate Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, she said she hopes that De Lima, who is now running for the senate, will be able to get out.

“We really miss you out here. We need you more out here. You can do so much more out here. And we keep praying that you be allowed out soon or that you are out, somehow by God’s grace and never-ending mercy,” Sharon said in her speech in Tarlac City.

 

She also did not forget to share her and her daughter Frankie Pangilinan's admiration for De Lima. “We haven’t forgotten about you (De Lima). Frankie and I adore you and pray for you, and you are so courageous and inspiring and you should not be in there, I keep praying for you, Senator Leila and I hope to give you a big hug when I see you finally. Hopefully sooner than we all expect. Frankie and I love you. God Bless you po!” the megastar said.

De Lima has yet to respond on Sharon's message to her.
