“Ang Common sense ay hindi ito itinuturo sa UP Diliman” — Retired Journalist

Veteran Journalist Jay Sonza sl@mmed Presidential Candidate Vice President Leni Robredo for taking off her shoes after a few hours of debate hosted by CNN Philippines.

In his Facebook post, Sonza educate Robredo and said that the vice president should not have worn heels because she knew that the program would last for a few hours. “Ang “Common sense” ay hindi ito itinuturo sa UP Diliman.” said Sonza. “Kapag alam mong matagal ang tindigan sa isang okasyon, pulong o event, dapat naka flat shoes ka o kaya maghubad ka ng sapatos na may mataas na takong. Iyan ay kung hindi mabaho at umaalingasaw ang iyong paa.” he added.

Sonza also called what Robredo did was ‘cheap’. “Tapos gigimik ka na bitbit ang sapatos na para kang tatawid sa ilog sa kabukiran. Napaka-cheap ng dating.” explained the journalist.
