Netizen, hindi nakapagpigil na batikusin ang paggamit ng Leni-Kiko tandem sa pulpito ng Simbahan

One netizen could not help but crit1cize the use of the church pulpit by Vice President Leni Robredo. It will be recalled that some photos appeared on social media became controversial where Robredo and Pangilinan can be seen speaking from the pulpit of the Cathedral-Shrine and Parish of the Good Shepherd in Fairview, Quezon City.

In his Facebook post, Johnny Sniper Coquilla explained what exactly is the value of the church pulpit that should not be used for non essential things outside of the catholic faith.

“The pulpit is NOT the place for opinion, philosophy, secular thought, debate, business or any non-biblical event. ✓The Preaching of the Whole Counsel of God –Acts 20:21 -1 Corinthians 1:17 -2 Timothy 4:2 ✓The Pulpit must be empowered by the Holy Spirit –1 Thess. 1:5,” according to Coquilla. “THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE PULPIT A. To Make an Impact for Christ B. To Reveal the Truth of God C. To Identify the Sin and Errors of the World,” he added.

Coquilla shared his frustr@tion because the church itself and the pulpit, should only be used for sharing the word of God, but not in politics. He also said that there is a law that separates the church and the government.

“Yet Catholic Church used it for their political motives and benefits? Where is the dignity we hold right now? Where is the word of GOD we used to preach to the people.” continued Coquilla.

He also called the attention of the Catholic Bishops ’Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and asked if they were cr@zy enough to just let the temple of God be used.

C. To Identify the Sin and Errors of the World and yet Catholic Church used it for their political motives and benefits? Where is the dignity we hold right now? Where is the word of GOD we used to preach to the people.

In Article II (Declaration of Principles), Section 6, the Constitution states: “The separation of Church and State shall be inviolable.” The application of this principle could be readily seen in the Omnibus Election Code, which disallows religious groups from registering as political parties, intervening in village-level elections, raising campaign funds, as well as coercing subordinates to vote for or against any candidate (Pangalangan 2015, p. 566).

I AM NOT ANTI LENI NOR PRO BBM But I am against of using the house of God in politics. Catholic Church! specially the the CBCP! are you insane? Nabuang na ba mo? Wa namo mahadlok sa Ginoo kay gigamit naman ninyo ang balay alampoanan sa Ginoo sa kalibutanong mga buhat?
