According to Gibbs, the election has been over for a long time, so it would be better if every citizen has 'unity', like what President Marcos called for 'Unity'.
In his social media post, Gibbs encouraged PBBM's supporters to never consider them and call them 'the other side'.
The actor explained that whatever the success or failure of the government will be, is the same effect to the people.
The said post was captioned '#PagkaisaHindiPagkaisahan'.
"The election has been over for a long time. There are no sides now. We are all back to being just citizens. After all, the new govt's victory or failure will be our country's also," Gibbs said in his Instagram post on July 11.
"PBBM's call is for Unity. So listen to him and stop referring to us as the other side. You think that only those who voted for them should be served by the new government," added the singer-actor.
In the end, Gibbs reminded the public that we are all equal citizens and part of the Philippines.
