The competition between mass medias is gone due to news programs that has been replaced by anime or Japanese Cartoons.
Well-known Lawyer Atty. Larry Gadon questions Sotto's reasoning. According to the lawyer, it is not the duty of the senate to judge the quality of the television program.
Atty. Gadon inevitably compare the senate to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
Gadon added that Sotto's move does not seem to be in law because franchise bills should come from congress.
Unang-una, itong hakbang ng senado na ito, wala sa batas ‘yan sapagkat all private bills and franchise bills should emanate or originate from the house of representatives… Gadon.
