Panoorin: Billionaire Ang: "Pasalamatan natin si Pangulong Duterte sa kanyang strong government."

If the critics of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte are busy underestimating the good intentions of the government, all the praises were said by San Miguel Corporation President Ramon Ang about the implementation of infrastructure projects lead by the Duterte Administration.

He urged the Filipinos to thank the President for his strong leadership.

“Mga kababayan pasalamatan natin si Pangulong Duterte sa kanyang strong government. Kung hindi dahil sa strong policy ng gobyerno ni President Duterte, hindi natin nagawa itong right-of-way na ito, hindi natin na-accomplish iyan at hindi matatayo ito… We have the government of President Rodrigo Duterte to thank, for paving the way for the continuous construction of Skyway 3 over the past few years. We believe it will be key to our economic recovery after the pandemic,” according to Ang.

 

Ang said this at the opening of Skyway Stage 3, the 18-kilometer expressway that will connect Makati and Quezon City. If previously it took 2 hours to travel from Balintawak in Quezon City to Magallanes in Makati, now the travel will only take 15 minutes.

With the opening of Skyway 3 to the public, motorists who will use the road will not be charged for a month.

According to Ang, Skyway 3 will help reduce the number of vehicles in EDSA. He also praised the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar.

According to the billionaire, Villar is unique compared to the former secretaries of the agency. “Salamat din kay Sec. Villar! Napakasipag at napakagaling. Of all public highway secretaries na nakita ko sa buhay ko, he is the best among them ,” added Ang.
