According to the congressman, the station's vi0lations cannot be forgotten.
Congressman Marcoleta further stressed out that ABS-CBN has many more issues that need to be answered and should not be forgotten. Some of these issues are the land occupied by ABS-CBN headquarters in Mother Ignacia St. in Quezon City.
According to Marcoleta, Abs-cbn's violati0n can reach up to 1.6 trillion.

In a separate interview, Anakalusugan Partylist Congressman Mike Defensor stressed out that the bill for the mass media franchises should come from congress.

In the beginning of January 2021, Senator Sotto filed a bill to grant the giant media a franchise. According to the senator, the quality of programs seems to be declining due to the loss of ABS-CBN. There is also a need for competition between networks.
“I noticed TV stations have been replacing their news programs with Animes. It means competition is absent and mediocrity is creeping in because of the absence of a strong competitor like ABS-CBN,” said Sotto.
