On her social media account, Sharon expressed her support for Kakie. She called her daughter "talented" and said she was impressed by Kakie's music. The megastar also slammed Kakie's critics.
“Love and light, our dearest, most precious, beautiful and talented daughter, KAKIE! Your music is awesome! We and millions of (real, not bots!) people out there love you so much!” said the megastar.
Kakie is the daughter of Sharon Cuneta from Opposition Senator Francisco “Kiko” Pangilinan. Like her father, Kakie also likes to criticize the Duterte Administration.
Pangilinan has been sla*mmed several times by President Rodrigo Duterte for his authored law "Juvenile Just!ce and Welfare Act of 2006".
According to the President, the said law is a failure and only serves as a way to acquit child cr!minals.
