Just minutes after Senator Manny Pacquiao accepted the PDP-Laban's nomination of him as the presidential candidate, some netizens  immediately taken aback by this decision of the Pambansang Kamao.

Television host John Lapus, a member of the LGBT community, is one of them. It will be recalled that Pacquiao became controversial because of his statement in which he compared the members of the LGBT community to animals.

Because of this, John was one of those who immediately campaigned against the Senator. “Mga bakla! Wag kalimutan, sinabihan tayo nyan ng “Masahol pa sa Hayop”. said John in his tweet.

In his interview in Toni Talks, Pacquiao defended his statement against the LGBT community. “Who am I judge the person ‘di ba? Lahat tayong tao, kawangis ng Panginoon,” he added.
