Atienza called the said surveys "selfish" because he saw in person that the people's support for the pambansang kamao is really strong.
According to him, there are some candidates who are paying for surveys so that they can take the lead. “Don’t believe the polls, don’t believe them. Believe me, today, people are spending a lot of money on surveys, depending on who pays for the survey, ay siya ang lalabas na panalo dyan,” Atienza said in an interview with the Inquirer.
“I think people will realize a big surprise on Election Day: Manny Pacquiao with a landslide,” Atienza continued.
The legislator also said that wherever they are going, people love the pambansang kamao. “Wherever we go, people go out, run, they (Pacquiao) greet him with all the warmth of love. There is a mixture of gratitude, there is a mixture of love and there is a cry of emotion, ‘Manny Pacquiao, you are our president!” said Atienza.
It will be remembered that wherever the pambansang kamao goes, many people are lining up and hoping that they will be given help.
Senator Manny Pacquiao, on the other hand, denied that he was buying the people's vote and said that it was his habit to share his wealth to others.
