Ibinahagi ni Bondoc ang maaring mangyari kung sakaling umatras si Go at biglang ma disqualified si BBM

Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) Board of Directors member Jimmy Bondoc is not in favor of Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go to withdraw his candidacy for the presidency.

In his Facebook post, Bondoc shared what could happen in the event that Go withdraws from the presidency and presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos is suddenly disqualified?

It will be recalled that Marcos was charged with disqualification cases due to his tax-evasion case, his father's actions during Mart1al Law and his being an alleged imp0stor.

If this w0rst case scenario happens, VP Leni Robredo could win the presidency. “If Sir BONG GO officially files his withdrawal, and by some stroke of great misfortune, BBM is disqualified, then I congratulate in advance my friends who are LENI supporters.” posted Bondoc.

 

The reaction of Bondoc's friends and followers was divided. Former actress Vivian Velez is one of those who said that it is unclear if Robredo will still win even if Marcos and Go disappear from the ballot. “haha not going to happen.. but hypothetically.. mas malakas pa si Tolonges kay Lugaw,” said Velez.

So far, Go has not formally backed down from his candidacy.

Bondoc is a well known singer who showed support for the candidacy of President Rodrigo Duterte. Under the current administration, Bondoc has a position at PAGCOR.

Perla Duque: Sorry, but BBM will never be disqualified or his COC cancelled just because of the Court of Appeals decision. He has ran in several national and local elections and won after said decision and was never disqualified or his COC cancelled. In fact the lawyers of the petitioners know this that's why the certified copy of the decision is not being attached or even attached, the dispositive portion is not copied verbatim. Don't think that BBM's legal team headed by Atty. Estelito Mendoza will just take an adverse Comelec decision sitting down. Besides Comelec has no power to overrule the long final CA decision. In the end, the sovereign will of the people will be supreme and BBM will sit as our next president.
