A netizen can possibly  go to court just because she told the story of her friend's experience when they tried to ask for help from Vice President Leni Robredo. According to netizen Glynndel Sepe, the inc1dent happened on December 17 after Typhoon Odette h1t their area.

“VP Leni Robredo was here in Bohol on Dec 17th immediately after the typhoon. My friends (Marjorie Ganzon Valle and her husband) had gone to the airport on the same day to try to see if their flight to Manila the next day was canceled.” according to Sepe. But they seemed disappointed because Robredo's staff asked them the wrong question. They met her staff there, also saw VP Leni speaking to a few people not so far from where they stood. Her staff approached them and instead of asking questions like, “Kamusta kayo?”, or “What kind of help do you need?”, they instead asked “Gusto yo magpa-picture?” said the netizen.

Sepe's post went viral on social media and that she allegedly received thr3ats. Blogger Jover Laurio also warned Sepe that she had forwarded the netizen's story to ‘Lawyers for Leni’.

It will be recalled that 'Lawyers for Leni' called for showing them the photo of a destructive posts against the vice president so that they can take action against it.

A certain lawyer said his opinion on Sepe's issue. “Ano kayang ikakaso dito? I cannot think of one. May genius legal scholars siguro sila. Wala talaga akong makita eh. As in wala based on the actual post.” according to Atty. Darwin Cañete who is a pr0secut0r.

Atty. Trixie Cruz Angeles and Atty. Ahmed at the same time defended Sepe. Read their post below:

Eto ang lib3l: “a public and mal1cious imputation of a cr1me, or a vice or defect, real or imaginary, or any act, omission, condition, status, or circumstance tending to cause the dish0nor, discredit, or contempt of a natural or juridical person, or to blacken the memory of one who is d3ad.” Take note, dapat malici0us. Eto ang ibig sabihin ng malici0us: “Malice connotes 1ll will or spite and speaks not in response to duty but merely to injur3 the reputation of the person def@med, and implies an intention to do ulterior and unjustifiable h@rm.” Yuchengco v. Manila Chronicle et al GR No. 184315, Nov 25, 2009 Si Madame Leni ay public figure. Bise Presidente kasi. Sabi ng Supreme Court: “For that matter, even if the defamat0ry statement is false, no liability can attach if it relates to official conduct, unless the public official concerned proves that the statements was made with actual malice — that is, with knowledge that it was false or with r3ckless disregard of whether it was false or not.” Eto ang kwento nung taong gustong isumbong ni blogger: Pumunta sa airport ng Bohol ang friends ni Glynndel Sepe after the typhoon. Cancelled ang flights but they went to see if they could fly out. May l1bel ba yan? Saan ang imputation of a cr1me, vice or defect? Ano diyan ang mapanira? Wala. Pero if may kasiraang resulta niya, may malice ba? Hmph.
