It will be recalled that Presidential Aspirant and Former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is now leading in several presidential surveys, therefore, Atienza could not hide the f3ar that the said family might r0b the country again.
“Kapag nanalo si Bongbong, I’m sorry to say, wala na talaga pupuntahan ang Pilipinas. If they got away with it by st3aling so much money; they will st3al more money to make sure they get around once again,” said Atienza.
Atienza said the country's next leaders after the Marcos administration made a mistake because they should have impris0ned the former president's entire family earlier to prevent them from returning to power.
“I believe our leaders after Marcos created a very gr@ve miscalculation and a big err0r. They did not really pursue the issues against Marcos. Right now they should all be in j@il,” said the former mayor of Manila.
Nor he is it not impressed the way Marcos campaigned. “I don’t entirely believe the story-telling of the Marcos campaign. They are not telling the truth. It’s a very well crafted political campaign machinery,” he added.
It will be recalled that Atienza also questioned where Marcos' campaign money came from. “I would like to ask one candidate today, Bongbong Marcos, ano negosyo niya? Saan siya nagtatrabaho? Ano kinikita niya? Ba’t ang dami-dami niyang perang ginagastos? Walang kontrol saan nanggagaling ‘yan,” asked Atienza.
