According to DOJ cybercr1me group officer-in-charge Atty. Charito Zamora, they are already collaborating with the social media platform Tiktok where the alleged plan to end Marcos' life came from.
Zamora shared that they are already in talks with TikTok Law Enforcement Outreach to get more information about a particular user @ljluna7 who allegedly said they had a plan to knock out BBM. “As a matter of procedure, we immediately proceed in having it invest1gated because of the seriousness of the subject. It’s really an actionable intelligence concern,” said Zamora.
A netizen named @PinkieLeafy allegedly took a screen capture of @ljluna7's thr3at. “May person (@ljluna7) na Leni supporter sa Tiktok na nag bab@nta kay BBM. Kung legit kang kakampink tigil mo yan. Nakakasira ka ng image ng kakampink. Baka pakawala ka lang nila.” said @pinkieleafy in her tweet.
“While the report on the assass1nation plot is concerning, we are not cowered by such thr3at. Bongbong shall continue to personally deliver his message around the country with firm resolve to unify the nation.” according to Atty. Vic Rodriguez, BBM's spokesman. “We commend the cyb3rcr1me office of the Justice department, through Sec. Menardo Guevarra, for its swift and uncompromising response to uncover those behind this open thr3at to h@rm aspiring president Bongbong Marcos,” he added.
The susp3ct's camp has not yet made a statement on the possible case she is going to face.
